Max's Roadhouse

"Well it was late and all were hungry so we sung into Max's on a whim. And it turned out to be a great time. We walked in and were welcomed by the staff. Then throughout our time we all got to play shuffleboard, darts, pool and watch the DJ set up for karaoke later that night. The playlist was on point with some great classic and country music playing. The food came out and it was hot, fresh and tasty. All the sudden our table was very quiet devouring our hot sandwiches and nachos. We will definitely be back, especially for some live music and their almost daily events."

"I've driven past here a few times on Sunday cruises. Made the stop this time and I'm glad I did. Let the very nice waitress make the suggestion for the meal - she picked well as that burger was a banger! I over did it with the funnel cake fries as I was riding solo on this trip. But they were so good. It was going to be a long and active night anyway. I needed all this good local restaurant fuel. I'll be back."

"the patty melt was a really thick tasty burger. the addition of sauteed mushrooms plus adding bacon made it unique and excellent. but really noteworthy was how awesome the staff was. We had checked to make sure that this was a dog friendly restaurant. They were not only dog friendly but dog doting. It was a pretty cold day and rather than requiring us to sit out on the patio they let us take an indoor table. Within a couple minutes of sitting down the waiter had brought over a bowl of water for my pup. Then a few minutes after that the cook came out and actually gave me a couple of pieces of bacon for her. And everybody was real friendly and giving attention to her. Service above and beyond including taking care of us humans "

"I've passed this spot so many times & finally had time to check it out today! We were out running errands with some time to spare so hopped in for a couple of drinks. I had the best Moscow mule I've ever tasted & my mother said the same about her margarita. Decided to scan over the menu & couldn't resist trying the fried green beans. Absolutely delicious. Gorgeous & welcoming inside bar/restaurant area but since it's a gorgeous day, we sat out on the patio. Kid & pet friendly (must be leashed), large fenced in turf grass area for the kiddos to run around & full stage where they host some of the best live local music around! Saw some awesome specials like Taco Tuesday, Steak Thursday, etc. Prices were very reasonable & plenty of parking. Wish we could have stayed longer but will be back again soon. Perfect spot for some afternoon drinks, family celebration or even a fun date night!"

"We entered the restaurant at 8:07 and received our first order at 8:27. (Rest of it 8:37) The wings were warm but dry.There was a feeling that they were using old oil, but overall it wasn't bad .The rest of the food was delicious and the portions were large.I liked the fun atmosphere.We had a good time at the pool table.The music was too loud for conversation, but I liked the food, the friendly staff, and the reasonable prices.Will be back again."

"We are in the area for the winter months. We really enjoy experiencing everything local - stores, pubs, restaurants...you get the picture. We have passed by Max's Roadhouse quite a few times and decided yesterday was the day to stop by and have an early dinner. Online reviews were mixed with good and not-so-good, but the shining reviews helped us choose. And we are so glad we ignored the negative ones! We were immediately greeted and seated ourselves on the bar side when we arrived early around 4:30pm. The place was beautifully decorated for Christmas which was a treat. Music was playing but it was at a decent level and had a good playlist. My husband had an IPA with a Roadhouse Cheeseburger with Fries and I ordered the Hill Country Margarita and the Beef Tacos (2 large ones.) The server was attentive, prompt to respond, and just a delight to meet. The drinks and food were delicious, too. In fact, we had so much food we took some of it with us when we left.
